Head tubes
A very popular hat here at missbell, a knitted tube designed to have your hair hanging out the back. A basic head tube is roughly 9 inches in length, an extra long head tube is roughly 12 inches in length. Both styles will stretch up to 25 inches in width, to fit over thick hair, perfect for dreadlocks.
Slouchee hats
A long knitted hat, like a baggy beanie. Designed to sit over all hair types, not designed to hold hair in the back. A basic slouchee is roughly 12 inches in length, and will stretch up to 25/26 inches in width. Smaller/larger widths are available on request.
Knitted hats
A very basic knitted hat, designed to sit over undreaded hair. The size is roughly 8-9 inches in length and will stretch up to 24/25 inches in width. Smaller/larger sizes are available on request.
Ponytail hats
A knitted hat with 2 holes at the top for your hair to hang out of. Same measurements as a head tube, roughly 9 inches in length, will stretch up to 25 inches in width.
Crocheted head wraps
A hand crocheted head wrap. Designed to keep your hair off your face. Size may vary, see individual item listing for more detail.
Crocheted dreadlock tams
A hand crocheted tam, designed to hold your hair in the back. A size small will hold short dreads, a size medium will hold medium/shoulder length dreads and a large tam will hold shoulder-mid back length dreads [for even larger sizes please email me]. These sizes are only a guideline as some hair may be thicker then others. If you are wanting a perfect fit then I advise you to email me before ordering to discuss your hair/hat size.
Tams with a drawstring make the width of the hat fully adjustable, so there is no need to worry if your hat will fit the circumference of your head. Tams without a drawstring are made to stretch to roughly 24/25 inches.
